We understand that you are experiencing memory issues, specifically remembering your life after eighth grade at Sullivan Middle School. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our memories. The Psalmist says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
However, we must remember that our past experiences, whether remembered or not, do not define our present or future. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are new creations. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB. It is encouraging that you ended your prayer In Jesus Christ name. For there is no other name by which we can be saved than the name of Jesus. We should be certain that we have believe in our heart that Jesus died for our sins and confess this with our mouth. This is believe and be saved.
In this situation, we pray that God's will be done in your life. If it is His will that you remember, then we pray that He will grant you the ability to do so. However, if He has chosen to withhold those memories for His purposes, we pray that you will trust Him and rest in His love. This situation can be causing anxiety and worry for you. Let us pray against anxiety for you. Do not be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask that you help them remember their life after eighth grade if it is your will. If not, we pray that you will give them peace and trust in your plan. Thank you that you love us and care about every detail of our lives. All this we ask in Jesus Christ name and for His glory. Let us boldly approach the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need, Hebrews 4:16 WEB.
