Thank you, Horotekan, for sharing Monique's prayer request. We are delighted to join her in prayer and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, we rejoice with Monique for the opportunity to attend this interview. We pray that God's will be done concerning this job. We remember Proverbs 16:3 WEB, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." Also, we recall Proverbs 16:9 WEB, "A man's heart plans his way, but Yahweh directs his steps." Therefore we pray that she places her faith in the Lord Jesus to direct her steps in this process.
However, we notice that Monique did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in her prayer request. We will assume that Monique has faith in Jesus Christ, but it is important to clarify that we only have access to God the Father through Jesus Christ His Son. This is mentioned in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Therefore, Monique should always pray in Jesus' name.
Concerning Monique and Rico, we pray that God will grant them wisdom to communicate effectively in a manner that honors Him. We remember Colossians 3:8 WEB, "But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth." We encourage both of them to strive for a godly relationship as they court that will lead to a God-honoring marriage.
Ephesians 4:29 WEB, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." We will pray that Monique and Rico will focus on building each other up and that Rico will lead them in God's will and Word.
For Monique's 15-year-old daughter, we pray that she will embrace the wisdom and correction from her mother and from the Lord Jesus. We remember Ephesians 6:4 WEB, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the discipline and nurture of the Lord." Also, Ephesians 6:1 WEB, "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right." This is the only commandment with a promise.
We pray that Monique and Rico will seek to be godly examples of Christ's love to her daughter. They should not just discipline her but also disciple her and show her the love of Jesus Christ in their lives. We should pray that this young lady will repent and turn from disrespect and embrace righteousness. It is important to not just pray for our children but to instruct them and model the behavior we expect.
Finally, we declare together that God is amazing, and He is faithful. Let us trust in His promises and His unfailing love. We praise Him for who He is and for what He has done.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
