We are glad that you have come to God seeking forgiveness. You have asked Heavenly Father to forgive you in Jesus Christ's name - Amen!. The fact is that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can even come to the Father. This is clear in John WEB 14:6: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

You have access to the Father only through Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that we must believe that Jesus is Lord, that God raised him from the dead, and verbally confess that belief. We read in the WEB translation Romans 10:9: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." It is only by the name of Jesus we are saved and have access to the father. Read more in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This formal declaration of belief in Jesus Christ is essential to be saved and shows that we intend to submit to his Lordship.

Jesus paid a very high price so that we can come to the Father as his precious children and he himself for our sins. Jesus has paid the price for all our sins and those who are in him have a new nature. We do not have to ask for forgiveness for our sins as Jesus has already paid the penalty for those sins. In 2 Corinthians 5:17. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB) When we confess and ask for the forgiveness of sins, we are aware that it is very uncomfortable, like wearing old dirty clothes that we should throw away. We read in Hebrews 10:17: "I will remember their sins and iniquities no more." Therefore our sins have been paid for by Jesus on the cross. The Christian life is getting used to our new nature and putting off the old life Peter (2 Peter 1:4, WEB) tells us: we are granted to "become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust."

Suggest that you pray the salvation prayer. Lord Jesus, I confess that you are Lord, that you died for my sins and that God raised you from the dead. Forgive me my sins. Wash me clean. Make me new. I accept your forgiveness. I receive you as Lord and Savior. In your name I pray, amen. In Jesus name we pray together for your salvation and that you will live in your new nature of a child of God and not in the old nature.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
