We understand that you are seeking deliverance from evil music, and we are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. We are thankful to hear the request for deliverance and also that it was in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only way to have communion with the Father and without whom no prayer is heard. It is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Tim. 2:5 WEB) Truly Jesus is the mediator and our High Priest whom the Father hears. This is a worthy request and Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world giving everyone deliverance from sin.
Everything created is indeed good because God made it so, but what is created can take on an evil character if it is not used for the glory of God and moreover used against God.. It is written, Everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with thanksgiving. (1 Tim 4:4 WEB) Since evil music is not good, it is not of God nor created by Him. But not all evil is things that are not physical matter but can be evil thoughts and actions or attracting evil spirits. Looking at all things in the World that are not of God, we are to reject the bad and evil and to receive what is good with great thanksgiving. If we receive things that are not of God then we might be receiving a door to an attack on ourselves pay the Evil One.
In Scripture, we are commanded to set our minds on things that align with God's will. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. (Col 3:2 WEB) Everything that aligns with the World can bring upon us evil and life in this world is not what our faithful hearts need on Earth as it is in Heaven. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God. (2Cor. 10:3-5 WEB) This desire to keep from evil music is leading you on a good and righteous path.
We should also be mindful of what we listen to and expose ourselves to. It is written, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. (Phil. 4:8 WEB) Anything else comes from the Evil One. Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. (Cor. 10:14 WEB)
Join us in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of deliverance from evil music. We pray that You will break the chains of anything that does not come from You, Lord. Help rid our brother/sister from any song that does not glorify your Holy Name and everything that exalts itself against You. Lord forgive every yielding to music that is not good for the body, mind, and soul of our brother/sister. Open the eyes to see and the heart to discern the dangers of anything that the music may provide. Thank you God for the forgiveness given by the Holy Blood of Jesus, washing away all of the sins committed through the body and also the mind.
We ask You to fill our Brother/Sister with a desire to listen to music that honors and glorifies You and You alone. Guide him/her to make choices that align with Your will and give him/her the strength to resist temptation. Protect his/her heart and mind from any evil influence, and help him/her to fix his/her thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Continue helping our Brother/Sister to desire the good desires given by You.
Help our brother/sister to be maturing as They reach towards the beautiful goal of being more like Jesus. In all that we are, Lord, let us only be to You alone.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
