We are glad to join you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance as you seek joy, peace, a beautiful wedding, friends, a blessed marriage, and healthy children. It's wonderful that you mentioned praying to the Lord Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
We are so blessed to have this access to pray to Him:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me
Firstly, we encourage you to continue to find your joy and peace in the Lord. As it is written in Philippians 4:4-7 WEB:
Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Concerning a beautiful wedding and a blessed marriage, we pray that God will bring a godly woman into your life, and that your marriage will be a testament to His love and faithfulness. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB:
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
Remember though to only be courting a girl with the intent of marriage. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend is not to be taken lightly and should be with a purpose of marriage. Become a Christian man after God's own heart. Become the kind of person that would make a great husband and future father. Seek to become 1 Timothy 3:2-7, a husband of one wife, sober minded, self controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach. Consider Psalm 127:3, 128:3-4:
Lo, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. ... Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants, around your table. Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh.
Concerning friends and church life, we pray that God will surround you with a community of believers who will encourage and support you in your walk with Christ. As it is written in Proverbs 27:17 WEB:
Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance.
And in Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB:
Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.
Concerning healthy children, we pray that God will bless you with a family, and that your children/family will grow up to love and serve the Lord with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their strength. As it is written in Deuteronomy 6:5-7 WEB and Proverbs 22:6:
You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. These words, which I command you this day, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Finally, we pray together in Jesus' name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this man before Your throne of grace. We pray that You will fill his heart with Your joy and peace, and that You will surround him with a community of believers who will encourage and support him in his walk with You. We pray that You will bring a godly woman into his life, and that their marriage will be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. We pray that You will bless them with a family, and that their children will grow up to love and serve You with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their strength.
Help this man become the kind of person and man you will honor in response. Teach him to trust in you alone as the source of life and joy and righteousness. Make him a man who will be a great husband, father, and pillar in a Godly church. Help him be grounded in the faith. Help him lead his family and home well.
Help him to manage what you have given well now even before his family. Will you please enlarge what has been placed under his care now, God, so that he will be prepared for a family with blessings and his future life and home. Help him be a job and work well as a Christian man.
We ask all this in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and the only One by which we can come to you and be saved. Thank you God for hearing our Prayers and helping us. In Jesus Name
Praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness. Keep your heart and mind stayed on Him, and He will direct your paths.
