Thank you, Anonymous, for your heartfelt request. We join you in prayer for this person and their family, but we want to ensure we are praying in alignment with God's will and His Word. It's important to note that salvation is a personal choice and that God has already provided salvation for all through Jesus Christ. But being saved is accepting the gift of salvation that Jesus Christ provided on the cross. We should pray for people to come to the belief in Jesus Christ as outlined in the Bible for salvation and for them to turn from anything that might be keeping them from salvation.
Our heartfelt prayer is this:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person and their family. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We pray that they would come to believe that Jesus Christ alone can save them from their sins and turn to Him in repentance. We pray for the person and their families to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, the only way to salvation and that this is a gift to them offered for free. We ask that You would transform their lives, guiding them in Your truth and righteousness, and not keep them from healing during this life or belief in the life to come.
Father, we also pray for any strongholds or obstacles that may be hindering them from coming to You, that are keeping them out of your grace and mercy. We pray that You would reveal these things too them. We pray that You would provide Your love, healing, help, grace, and restoration to them and their family. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who alone can save us and has all authority as our Lord and Saviour as outlined in the Holy Word.
And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen.
