We understand that you are seeking deliverance from evil music. It is important to fill our minds with whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Let us turn to the words of Philippians Chapter 4 and read verses 8-9, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. The things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me: do these things, and the God of peace will be with you. The confidence that we are praying to the one and only true God, creator of heaven and earth gives us boldness and security in our faith.
We pray that you would turn away from any evil music and fill your heart with the goodness of God's word. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We pray that you would be edified and encouraged by the wonderful music that lifts people up, especially other Christians. What joy there is in the grace of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. We pray that you would turn away from any evil and may God turn your mourning into dancing as in Psalm 30:11.
You turned my mourning into dancing for me. You removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness, Psalms 30:11 (WEB).
Let not then your good be evil spoken of, Romans 14:16 (WEB).
For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, Ephesians 5:8 (WEB).
Also, remember the words of John in First John Chapter 1 verse 9. You have the confidence that it is by His son, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ that we gain access to the eternal kingdom.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (WEB)
Will pray that you build your prayer life, put on the full Armor of God, that you be strong in the faith, build andwavering, unbelieving faith, and walk stronger than ever in the faith each day. May your battles already be won in the spirit, and may you walk in a spirit of forgiveness towards everyone as Jesus Christ has died on the cross for our sins. Also, remember the Apostle Paul who said that we should pray without ceasing.
