It is a good thing that you are asking prayer for in Jesus' name. First of all, let's be reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 5 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

In every decision, it's crucial to seek God's will and guidance. We commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ to do just that. This is very much akin to acknowledging God in our ways, and thus being able to help you be guided through life. God can change your family's hearts so they will accept this job for your sake, but be assured that His desire for your life goes far beyond a salary. Therefore, your obedience and yielding to His calling should be the compass for this decision and the decisions that follows. Pray that the Holy Spirit will walk with you and that He will also address the underlying concerns your family may have on this situation. As God has plans, your life should not be guided by coincidences such as the receipt of email, but by divine intervention. Be content that Jesus Christ can speak to you without emails as well, just as he appeared to Shaul who later became Paul Acts 9:3-9. You should trust God to have job openings for you if it is by His will. Prayer is more useful than looking at your emails.

As a group we are praying, let us pray that if this job in tax preparation is by the will of Jesus Christ that your family be accepting of His will, and for God to make them understand how this would allow you to more closely live out your purpose in Him.. May they see God's grace throughout this, and as they do, recognize His role in it as well. Always be obedient to God's leadership in life. The job of your prayers and your tasks is to always worship God. For whatever you do always glorify Jesus Christ. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
