God is a close friend to Shabrim. Believe us, he knows the pain one feels when depressed, lonely, and feeling that life has no excitement. Shabrim's feelings are important to the King of Kings.
First, let us remember that we are never alone, for God is always with us. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in our darkest moments, God is there, ready to comfort and guide us. When Shabrim is feeling bored, they can approach God, who is waiting there for them.
When feeling this way, Shabrim can approach God confidently in prayer and petition with thanksgiving. We can bring everything to God in Prayer, including what may be bothering Shabrim as the root causes. We hope that Shabrim can learn some of the following words of wisdom to help him in dealing with and removing these root causes by running a race for God rather than the problems themselves. God can give guidance in the doctrinal values in this wisdom.
Philippians 4:6-7 WEB Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It is a mistake to be bored. Bored people are boring people. Let Shabrim take some good action to think how they may comfort others in any type of affliction or depressing thoughts.
2 Corinthians 1:4 WEB who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Shabrim needs to get out of his funk of doing nothing, and get moving to do good things that comfort others. Shabrim needs to help people in his Church or among Christian brothers and sisters. Shabrim needs to do something, anything, to get out of his "rut" and onto the beacons of the world, that people see his good deeds, and glorify the God of Heaven.
Matthew 5:16 WEB Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Let us share biblical advice on finding joy and purpose in life. In Ecclesiastes 5:20 it says: "For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answers him in the joy of his heart." Meaning? True joy comes from God, and recognizing His love for us.
Trust that God has purpose for Shabrim.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 WEB He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.
If nothing feels exciting, use that time wisely, as both Ecclesiastes and Colossians advise us.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 WEB For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ...
Further, in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB it says: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
