First, let's pray together for guidance and peace: Dear Lord, in Jesus name, amen, please grant ### Your comfort and wisdom in this situation. Help ### to trust in Your timing and plan for ### life. Help ### not feel sad. In Jesus name, amen. We all need to remember that we do not grieve as those who have no hope 1 Thess 4:13 and that we have the comforter that dwells with us John 16:6-7 if we have the Holy Spirit. We also know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Rom 8:28. This does not mean that we will know why things do not go as we wish but that when we love Him all things will be for the good.

Now, let's consider what we have learned in this situation. God calls us to be content in all circumstances. Especially before marriage we are to fix our eyes on Jesus rather than wanting a spouse at all costs. This means that while it's okay to admire someone like ###, we should not let it do harm to our attitudes or emotions because the flesh desires what it desires, but seek God to remain content where He has us. St. Paul says I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. Phil 4:12. Let's make sure we are in a place where we can enter a relationship where we are to look to serving the other and not just thinking about ourselves. So, focus on being a Blessing. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Eph. 6:10. Your feelings for ### might be real, but they should not lead you to a place of sadness. As you are hoping that ### was interested, are you truly ready to enter a holy marriage relationship with ###? Be sure to really understand this as this emotion you feel may not be real love but merely physical attraction or just wanting to be liked. Are you ready to live your life with ### in a sanctity of marriage before the Lord and honor God in your marriage? With God, a marriage can also be a lesson in loving our sisters and brothers in Christ where we learn to put the other before ourselves.

It's also good that you mentioned the name of Jesus in your prayer because this is the only way to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. Rejoice that you know this truth and Jesus Christ is with you!

Therefore it is a good idea to use the energy you have and seek God's wisdom in finding a potential godly spouse. Make your desire for a lifelong commitment known to God and trust in Him because we know this will be for our good even if we do not understand it.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
