Zekhethelo, we are pleased to join you in prayer regarding your situation. However, we must address the underlying issue first. It is clear that you have been deceitful in applying and accepting the job knowing in advance that you did not have the proper qualifications. This is clearly dishonest, and not appropriate in God's eyes. We must respectfully rebuke this attitude, as it goes against biblical principles of work ethics. The Bible tells us "render to all what is due to them taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor." So each of us will give an account of himself in his Christian walk and work ethics too. Colossians 3:23 also tells us "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men".
Ask yourself, if Jesus Christ were the employer, would you have lied to Him too? Is your goal to please men or God, Who is the One that you will have to give answer too in time?
Just as it is written in 2 Timothy 2:15, "Be diligent to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn't need to be ashamed, properly dividing the word of truth." We should strive to uphold integrity and honesty in all our earthly affairs, “for when you do your affairs in the midst of the land, you shall not deceive each other. These are the laws and ordinances you shall observe to do in the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers has given you to possess it, all the days that you live on the earth.” (Leviticus 19:13-14)
We must encourage you to come forward with the truth about this matter which could bring about unforeseeable consequences. God does not honor deceit. It is best to go to your job and tell them the truth. Then if the Lord is willing to let you keep the job he will cause them to over look it but if not, He has the right thing already lined up.
If you have not done so, the first step is to repent. Confess your dishonesty to God by repenting of this sin and take the course again till you are qualified for the work at hand or any other work which requires such qualification. "He who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Proverbs 28:13. Then in James 5:16 it is written "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Zekhethelo, no where in the post did you mention God, Jesus, Christ, or acknowledge the Holy Trinity. It is by the name of Jesus Christ alone that we obtain this favor by God. "This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:11-12) No one can come to God without Jesus Christ. “If any man enters in by any other way, he is a thief or a robber.” (John 10:1, 10:9-10)
And we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come, confessing the sin that has been committed to You, the only One who is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord, we ask Your forgiveness for Zekhethelo's actions and that You guide in truth.
We also ask God that you give Zekhethelo the strength to approach their employer or to take the course again to obtain the right qualification. Guide and order their steps according to your word.
Ask all of this in Jesus Christ Name.
