We understand that you're seeking freedom from a soul tie and a tendency to chase after or think of someone. We commend you for turning to prayer and seeking God's help in this matter. The Bible teaches us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB), and we are confident that through His power, you can overcome this struggle.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear. If the person you're thinking of is not your spouse, it's important to resist any thoughts or actions that could lead to sin. Remember, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own body in sanctification and honor" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your help for our dear sister/brother. Lord, we ask that You sever any soul tie that is not from You, and free them from any bondage to ungodly thoughts and desires. Help them to focus their mind on You and Your Word, and to take every thought captive to obey Christ. Fill their mind and heart with Your love, peace, and truth. Give them the strength to resist temptation and to pursue righteousness. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying on this platform, as it's a powerful way to connect with other believers and seek God's will together. Remember, Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:20, WEB).
Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from God's Word: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Trust in God's faithfulness, and He will make a way for you.
