We understand your concerns, Tity, and we're here to pray and counsel with you. However, we must first address certain aspects of your request in light of biblical principles.
Firstly, the Bible teaches us that the practice of dowry is not in line with God's will. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB, it is written, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" While this verse is often applied to marriages between believers and non-believers, it also speaks to the unequal burden that dowry can bring. A marriage built on God's principles should not begin with such a burden.
Secondly, we must tackle the issue of debt. While the Bible doesn't prohibit borrowing, it cautions against it. Proverbs 22:7, WEB, says, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." We should seek God's provision first and foremost, trusting that He will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
We also notice that you've used the term "life partner." We encourage you to consider the biblical perspective on marriage, which is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:4-6, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we lift up Tity to You. We pray that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We ask that You open the right doors for a job that will not only meet their financial needs but also aligns with Your will. We pray for their relationship, that it will honor and glorify You. We ask that You guide them in the path of righteousness and help them to make decisions that are pleasing to You. We rebuke any spirit of lack, debt, or ungodly traditions in Jesus' name. We ask that You will touch the hearts of the family, turning them away from unbiblical practices. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you, Tity, to trust God and seek His will in all aspects of your life. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Cling to Him and His promises.
