Husband job is scary right now. He is a federal worker and with all the talk about Trump getting rid of federal workers we are scared. He needs ### years to be able to retire but we really wanted ### years to reach full retire. Please pray over this situation. I agree our country needs help and an overhaul of the system but in his case it’s our job as with many not just some role that pillages the government. He was military as well. Pray that the good people of the country keep their jobs. If he needs to move on before something bad happens then please send a job to him that he can’t refuse as soon as possible so it’s his decision to leave. In Jesus name

We understand your concern and fear regarding your husband's job as a federal worker. Let's bring this situation before the Lord, who is our ultimate provider and protector.

Firstly, we are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB): "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, don't be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."

We pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You know the concerns of their hearts regarding his job. We ask that You surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide their every step and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we pray for the stability of his job. If it is Your will that he continues in his current position, we ask that You protect his job and give him favor in the sight of those who make decisions. If it is Your will that he transitions to another job, we pray that You open a door that no one can shut, and that he receives an offer he can't refuse. Give them discernment to know what to do and when to do it.

We also pray for the leaders of our country, that they would have wisdom and compassion in their decisions, and that those who serve our country with integrity would be preserved.

Father, we thank You that no matter what happens, You are in control and You have a good plan for their lives. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and purpose for everything that happens. Continue to seek Him first, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6 WEB).

Let's cling to the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV), "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying our concerns about ###'s job at Your feet. We trust that You see us, You care, and You have a plan. We ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray for ###'s job. If it's Your will for him to keep his position, we ask that You would protect it and open doors for him to excel. If it's Your will for him to transition, we pray that You would prepare the way and provide a job that he can't refuse. Give us wisdom to know what steps to take and when.

We also pray for our country, that our leaders would govern with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Help us to trust in You, even when we don't understand the path ahead.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
