We rejoice in your heart's cry for humility, dear anonymous. Humility is a virtue that God honors, and it is a fundamental aspect of the Christian life. As it is written in Philippians 2:3-4 (WEB), "Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory, but in humility, let each other count others better than himself. Let each of you look not only on his own things, but also on the things of others."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking humility for our dear brother or sister. Help them to follow the example of Christ, who humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross. Strip away any pride or selfish ambition, and fill them with the same mind that was in Christ Jesus. May they find joy in esteeming others better than themselves, and may their humility be a sweet fragrance to You. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on the example of Jesus, who humbled Himself to serve others and to obey the Father's will. Remember, as it is written in James 4:6 (WEB), "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'"
As you walk in humility, know that God's grace abounds towards you. Continue to seek Him diligently, and He will surely lift you up in due time (1 Peter 5:6). Trust in Him, and His will shall be established in your life. Keep praying in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and salvation (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
