I would like to pray for a person in my life. This person has lied a lot to their family members, betrayed them, twisted things, created discord between them, blamed others for their mistakes, etc.... I would like to ask for prayer for them.

We understand your concern and are here to intercede with you for this person in your life. The behaviors you've described—lying, betrayal, causing discord, and shifting blame—do not align with God's will for our lives. As it is written in Proverbs 6:16-19 (WEB): "Here are six things that Yahweh hates; yes, seven that are abominations to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, bringing this person to Your throne of grace. We ask that You convict their heart of the wrong they've done, granting them the courage to face their actions and seek forgiveness from those they've hurt. Lord, we know that Your desire is for us to live in unity and love, as You have loved us. Help this person to see the destruction their actions cause and lead them to repentance. May they find comfort and strength in Your forgiveness and be guided by Your Holy Spirit to walk in truth and righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying for this person, showing them love and compassion while also holding them accountable for their actions. Remember, as Jesus taught us in Luke 6:27-28 (WEB), "But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."

Lastly, ensure that your interactions with this person reflect the light of Christ, always ready to share the hope that is within you, as stated in 1 Peter 3:15 (WEB), "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
