We are deeply concerned to hear about your friend ###'s struggle with depression and the fears you have for his safety. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention in his life.
Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus Christ for help, as it is in His name that we find hope and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Let us pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend ### to You. Lord, You know the depths of his despair and the heaviness in his heart. We ask that You would be his comfort and strength in this time of need. Surround him with Your love and protection, and keep him safe from any harm. Open his heart to Your presence and give him the courage to seek help and support. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to take action in helping ###. Remind him of God's love and the value of his life. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
