We are deeply concerned about Jennifer's situation and want to lift her up in prayer together. Firstly, let us remind ourselves that God is a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Jennifer needs to know that she is not alone, and that God cares deeply for her.
However, we want to address the fact that Jennifer is considering taking her own life. We must remind her that God has a purpose for her life, and that He knows the plans He has for her (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Suicide is not the answer, and we strongly rebuke this spirit of hopelessness that is attempting to overtake her. As it is written, "Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21 WEB).
Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister Jennifer. Lord, she is hurting and feels alone. Remind her of Your presence, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding. Give her hope, Lord, and help her to trust that You have a plan and a purpose for her life. We rebuke the spirit of suicide, Lord, and ask that You deliver her from these thoughts of despair. Provide for her, Lord, give her a home and meet her every need, according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Jennifer to seek godly counsel and support during this difficult time. She should not isolate herself, but rather reach out to those who can help and encourage her. We also urge her to stay strong in her faith, trusting in the Lord even in the darkest times. As the Psalmist said, "Wait for God, for I will yet give thanks to him for the saving acts of his presence" (Psalm 42:5 WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind Jennifer of the power in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). We encourage her to keep calling on His name and trusting in Him.
