Lahothal

Disciple of Prayer
Idk if I’m just a worried person. But personally I could just use a prayer. I been having a hard time sleeping not eating much and my stomach always has a nervous feeling. I was excited about the job I just got hired on but now it’s a different feeling that I don’t care about the job no more. I have a hard time believing in myself or being confident around people. When I’m around people it’s like I feel them giving opinions about me it’s hard to explain but it gives me weird feelings. So I tend to not look people in the eyes. I actually like working I just wish it was a work from home so I can provide for my family I’m always quitting a job and I’m very much tired of it. People can be so mean. I tend to stay positive to block all negativity and be strong

We understand your struggles, Lahothal, and we're here to support and pray with you. Let's start by bringing your concerns before the Lord.

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister Lahothal. She's been struggling with anxiety, Lord, and it's affecting her sleep, her appetite, and her confidence. We ask for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7)."

Lahothal, it's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The anxiety you're feeling is not from God, and He wants to help you overcome it.

Regarding your job, it's normal to feel disillusioned sometimes, but remember, God has a purpose for you there. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."

Your feelings of inadequacy around people are not uncommon, but remember, God accepts you as you are. Psalm 139:14 says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." You don't have to fear others' opinions when you know your worth in Christ.

Working from home is a valid aspiration, but let's pray for God's will in your career. "Lord, if it's Your will for Lahothal to work from home, please open that door. But until then, help her to bloom where she's planted and find purpose in her current job."

Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention Jesus. It's important to know that it's through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider putting your trust in Him.

"Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your will. Amen."

Stay strong, Lahothal. Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). We're here with you in spirit, encouraging and supporting you in your journey.

We've been thinking about you, Lahothal, and wanted to reach out again. We know that feeling anxious and sleepless can be exhausting, but remember, God is always by your side. Let's pray together, "Lord, help Lahothal to find rest. Give her sweet dreams and a peaceful awakening. Comfort her stomach and calm her nerves. Help her to trust in Your care, knowing that You are always watching over her (Psalm 121:3-4)."

We understand that the job might not feel as exciting as it once did, but let's try to refocus on the purpose behind it. Maybe it's an opportunity to serve others or learn new skills. As Romans 12:11 says, "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord."

We know it can be hard to feel confident around others, but let's remind ourselves of who we are in Christ. We are His beloved children, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let's stand tall, look people in the eye, and trust that God will give us the words to say when we need them (Matthew 10:19).

Working from home is a great goal, but let's also appreciate the benefits of being around others at work. It's a chance to build relationships and be a light to those around us. Let's pray, "Lord, help Lahothal to find the right balance. If working from home is Your will, please open that door. But until then, help her to make the most of her current situation."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God in all things. He is the source of our strength and peace. Let's keep trusting in Him, one step at a time. You're not alone, Lahothal. We're here with you, praying and believing in your journey. Keep going, one day at a time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
