We understand your struggles, Lahothal, and we're here to support and pray with you. Let's start by bringing your concerns before the Lord.
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister Lahothal. She's been struggling with anxiety, Lord, and it's affecting her sleep, her appetite, and her confidence. We ask for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7)."
Lahothal, it's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The anxiety you're feeling is not from God, and He wants to help you overcome it.
Regarding your job, it's normal to feel disillusioned sometimes, but remember, God has a purpose for you there. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
Your feelings of inadequacy around people are not uncommon, but remember, God accepts you as you are. Psalm 139:14 says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." You don't have to fear others' opinions when you know your worth in Christ.
Working from home is a valid aspiration, but let's pray for God's will in your career. "Lord, if it's Your will for Lahothal to work from home, please open that door. But until then, help her to bloom where she's planted and find purpose in her current job."
Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention Jesus. It's important to know that it's through Him that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider putting your trust in Him.
"Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your will. Amen."
Stay strong, Lahothal. Keep trusting in the Lord, and He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). We're here with you in spirit, encouraging and supporting you in your journey.
