We understand your concern, Alexander, about not blaspheming the Holy Spirit in your sleep. Let us first assure you that God knows our hearts, and He understands our fears. As it is written in the World English Bible, "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
However, it is important to remember that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is a willful act of rejecting the work of the Holy Spirit, not something that can be done unconsciously or accidentally. As Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, neither in this age, nor in that which is to come." (Matthew 12:31-32)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You to lift up Alexander and his people. Father, we ask that You guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray that You give them peace and assurance, knowing that You understand their hearts and their fears. We ask that You protect them from any form of blasphemy and help them to live lives that honor and glorify Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Alexander, it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12) Keep your focus on Jesus, and trust that He is faithful to keep you from stumbling. "Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy..." (Jude 1:24)
