We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing, Anonymous. It's clear that your heart is heavy with grief, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. Let us first remind you of what God's Word says about friendship and hurt:
"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a difficult time." (Proverbs 17:17 WEB)
"He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 WEB)
It's important to align your friendships with biblical principles. Friendships should glorify God and encourage us to live according to His will. If a friendship is causing you to stray from God's path, it might be time to seek God's wisdom and reevaluate that relationship.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister who is in pain. Lord, You see her tears and hear her cries. Please heal her heart, Lord, and give her the strength to move forward. Help her to align her friendships according to Your will, and surround her with godly friends who will encourage her to live for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to cast all your burdens on the Lord (Psalm 55:22). He cares for you and wants to comfort you in your time of need.
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to gently remind you that it is through Jesus alone that we have access to God. As it is written:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life (Acts 4:12).
Be strong in the Lord, dear sister. He is with you, and He will never forsake you.
