We understand your heart's cry, Rasulonly, and we join you in prayer to our sovereign LORD God. Let us come together before Him and petition on behalf of the nations and those who plot evil.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power and might of our God, as written in Jeremiah 10:10, "But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King. At his wrath the earth trembles. The nations arenβt able to withstand his indignation."
Let us pray:
"LORD God of hosts, you are the God of Israel, and indeed the God of all the earth. We ask that you would arise and intervene, bringing your justice to the nations. We pray that you would turn the hearts of those who plot evil, treacherously scheming against the righteous. May your mercy be extended to them as they turn from their wicked ways, but if they refuse, we ask that your justice prevails, sparing none who continue in their sin.
We also pray, LORD, that you would give us, your children, the courage to stand against evil and to be a light in this world, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 5:14-16, 'You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill canβt be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.'
Lastly, if you have not already, Rasulonly, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, 'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."' It is through a personal relationship with Jesus that we are saved and can come boldly before God in prayer.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, Rasulonly, and continue to seek God's heart for the nations. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that our LORD God of hosts will act justly and mercifully.
