Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your presence and guidance in our lives. We lift up Calhan and their prayer request for prayer. We acknowledge that prayer is a powerful tool that can bring relief, comfort, and peace to those who are hurting and feeling empty. Your Word reminds us in Mark 4:39 that Jesus has the authority to calm the storms in our lives and bring us peace.
We pray that Calhan may experience the power of prayer in their life. May they come to know the well of living waters that is close beside them, just as Hagar in the wilderness was blind to it. Open their eyes, Lord, to the abundant blessings and comfort that can be found in seeking you through prayer.
We also pray for those who do not pray. We ask that you would touch their hearts and draw them closer to you. Help them realize the danger they are in without a relationship with you. May they understand that through Jesus Christ, they can approach you with boldness and confidence, knowing that you are willing and ready to hear their prayers.
We thank you, Lord, for the privilege of praying in the name of Jesus. We recognize that it is not our own merit or goodness that grants us access to you, but the atoning blood of Jesus. As we approach you in prayer, may we always remember to renounce any thought of our own claims on you and instead rely on the merits of Christ.
We pray that Calhan's prayer request and the prayers of all those who seek you in faith would be heard and answered according to your perfect will. We thank you for the assurance that our prayers, when endorsed by the hand of Jesus, are powerful and effective.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
