We join you, Palgost, in praying for the man on your heart, and we commend you for seeking a relationship that honors God and is free from sin. We stand with you in Jesus' name, as it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Yahweh, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the man on Palgost's heart. We ask that You soften his heart and inspire him to communicate with her, so that they may build a solid friendship, free from sin, which leads to a holy marriage.
Father, we pray that You will inspire grace and forgiveness towards Palgost into his heart. We ask that You will guide their steps and mold them into a team that honors You in all they do. Help them to pursue purity and holiness in their courtship, fleeing from any form of sin as Scripture warns in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, "Flee sexual immorality. 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Lord, we ask that You will give them both wisdom and discernment as they consider the prospect of marriage. Help them to seek Your will above all else, and to trust in Your timing. As it is written in Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Palgost, we encourage you to continue praying for this man and trusting in God's perfect will for your life. Allow God to guide your steps and direct your path.
"She is far more precious than jewels. Her husband trusts her without reserve, and never has reason to regret it... She speaks with wisdom, faithful instruction on her tongue...Her husband also rises up and praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all...'" Proverbs 31 describe the virtuous wife. That is a tall order. Seek His guidance to become a virtuous wife to this man. This is what all Christian Believers that want to marry should strive to become. She is capable, strong, and is a wise woman. Even when it may seem hard, seek to build and not break down and build him as a husband. Seek to be obedient to the husband and live as Christ would. She is to be a godly spouse and be a good wife in a godly way. Be obedient and supportive of the husband just as Christ is the head of the church the husband is the head of the family.
That describes the virtuous wife from Proverbs. Continue to lift up this man in prayer, and trust that God is working in his heart and in yours. Strive to be this kind of wife. Pray that he will seek this kind of wife. "The prayer of the upright is his delight." Proverbs 15:8 WEB.
