Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of your healing touch. Lord, we lift up their physical ailments, specifically the constant running nose, wheezing, and pain in their back and body. We ask that you would bring relief and healing to their body, Lord. Your Word says in Philippians 4:6, "Be careful for nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God." We bring these specific physical concerns before you, trusting that you are the Great Physician who can bring restoration and wholeness.
Father, we also lift up the anxiety and depression that our friend is experiencing. We ask that you would calm their anxious thoughts and bring peace to their mind. Your Word reminds us in James 5:13, "Is any afflicted among you? let him pray." We pray that as they pour out their heart to you, you would bring comfort and strength, knowing that you are near to the brokenhearted.
Lord, we also lift up the request for help and support from the kids' dad or Mark. We ask that you would intervene in their situation and bring the right people to assist and provide the help that is needed. Your Word assures us in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We trust in your provision and guidance, knowing that you are always with us.
Lastly, we pray for the anxiety surrounding the boys' doctor's appointment and their school. We ask for your peace to fill their hearts and minds, and for everything to go well during these important appointments and school activities. We trust in your wisdom and guidance, knowing that you are in control of every situation.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
