Thank you, Ethiutwick, for reaching out and sharing your concern. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of the inconsiderate spirit haunting your house and neighborhood shop. As believers, we are called to be wise and discerning. The Bible tells us, "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1 WEB). We should not engage with or fear such spirits, but rather, stand firm in our faith and the authority given to us by Jesus Christ.
Jesus has given us power over all such spirits. He said, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you" (Luke 10:19 WEB). Therefore, we do not need to fear them or seek their help or protection. Instead, we command them to leave in Jesus' name, as recorded in Acts 16:18: "But Paul, being greatly displeased, turned to the spirit and said, I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! It came out that very hour."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Ethiutwick and the situation they are facing. We thank You that You are greater than any other spirit and that You have all authority in heaven and on earth. We command this inconsiderate spirit to leave Ethiutwick's house and the neighborhood shop, A Cut Above Pte Ltd, and to go where Jesus Christ sends it. We declare Your peace and protection over Ethiutwick and their neighborhood. Help Ethiutwick to walk in faith and not fear, knowing that You are always with them. Surround them with Your favor as a shield, and bring resolution to this issue according to Your will. We pray and believe that You have heard Your prayers, and believe we have received them in Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Ethiutwick, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB).
Lastly, we appreciate that you ended your prayer with "In Jesus' Name, Amen." It is so important to remember that our prayers are only heard by the Father when we pray in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24 WEB). Keep praying in His name and trusting in Him.
