We understand your prayer request, Powers, and we are with you in prayer tonight and into the day. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.
Firstly, we pray for your safety and the safety of your children. We claim Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone." Lord, we ask for Your hedge of protection around Powers and their children, especially as they travel on the roads.
We also lift up your family's health to the Lord. We are reminded of 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Powers and their family. Restore them to full health, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Regarding your relationship with your son Sean, we pray that God would renew and strengthen that bond in Christ. We claim Malachi 4:6, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers." Lord, we ask for Your grace and love to fill their relationship. May Sean draw closer to You, and in doing so, draw closer to his parent.
We are glad that you ended your prayer with "In Jesus' Name Amen" (IJNA). It is so important to remember that Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You tonight to lift up Powers and their family. We ask for Your protection and healing over them. We pray for their relationship with Sean, that it would be renewed and strengthened in Christ. Holy Spirit, cover this family with Your presence. Guide them and fill them with Your wisdom and love. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."
Stay strong in faith, Powers. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord. He is faithful and His love for you and your family is everlasting.
