We understand that you are seeking better opportunities to provide for your family, and we commend your dedication as the breadwinner. However, it's important to remember that God's will and His ways are higher than ours. While we can pray for God's provision and guidance, we should not focus solely on winning a green card or any other specific means, but rather seek His will and trust that He will provide according to His riches in glory.
Firstly, we need to address that prayer should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His only Son. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your only Son. We lift up this dear one who has been diligently working to provide for the family. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your plan for them to have a green card, please open the doors and make a way. If not, guide them to the right path and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.
Help them to trust in You and not put their hope in a green card or any other thing, but only in You, Lord. Give them the strength and wisdom to continue being a responsible member of their family, and provide for their needs as they seek to serve You.
Lord, we also pray for their siblings and others who depend on them. May they all come to know You personally and experience Your love, grace, and provision in their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you and your family. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
If you have not already, consider reading about salvation and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The most important thing is being a part of the kingdom of God and *then* all other things will be provided.
