We understand your struggle and commend you for turning to the Lord in this situation. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, we need to be able to pray as the Bible says to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Let us pray together for you and your coworker:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your intervention and guidance. We pray for Your peace and composure to fill our hearts, especially in the face of challenges at work. Grant us the strength to respond with patience and wisdom, even when frustration threatens to overwhelm us.
Lord, we ask for Your discernment and grace to help us see each person's intentions and actions clearly. We pray that if our coworker is indeed causing unfair behavior or manipulation, that You will expose it. Help us to see more like you see, God. However, we do not ask from a desire for revenge or exposure, but rather a desire for her to know and walk in your ways, God. We ask that if there is any negativity or manipulation, that You shield us from it. We ask that You show us a better way and that You give her heart the opportunity for repentance and that You open her eyes if her behavior is indeed dishonoring to you. We know that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, please take every thought captive to obey Christ and to be in your will. Help us to see how we can pray for her and how we can be a better coworker in your eyes. Help us to know how to be a blessing to all our coworkers.
Above all, help us to keep our focus on doing our best work and to trust that You are in control. May Your grace and strength fill us, allowing us to rise above any pettiness and remain true to Your love and purpose. We also pray for our coworker, that Your light may shine upon her and guide her in Your truth.
We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your coworker, as it is written in Matthew 5:44-45 WEB:
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Keep trusting in Him, and He will guide you through this situation. As it is said:
Therefore, let us keep looking with fixed attention to Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession. (Hebrews 3:1 WEB)
