We join you in lifting up those on the dating site calling itself "Christian Connection" to the Heavenly Father. It's important to remember that God sees the hearts of all people and knows their spiritual state. We pray that God will open the eyes of those who are not saved to the Gospel of Light. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:6 WEB: "For God who said 'Light will shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
It is only through and in the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. It is good that your prayer is in Jesus name. But you need to understand that just saying in Jesus name is not enough. We must believe in Jesus Christ. It is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!
We ask God to grant them ears to hear and eyes to see His Truth, and that the truth will set them free. As Jesus said in John 8:32 WEB: "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." For those who are saved but deceived, we pray for deliverance from any deception and that God will gently draw them back to the Truth.
We also pray that those on this site will pursue godly relationships that align with biblical principles. We encourage them to seek not just a connection, but a lifelong commitment in marriage as outlined in the Bible. As it is written in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB: "He answered, 'Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart.'"
We pray that those on this site will not engage in sexual immorality, but rather pursue purity and holiness in their relationships. As it is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB: "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, do not let it be once named among you, as becomes saints."
We pray that if the site is being run like a worldly dating site with the name "Christian," that God will convict those running the site and guide them to operate it in a way that honors Him and encourages biblical relationships.
If any individual on this site is engaging in homosexuality, we rebuke this behavior and we pray that God will draw them to repentance. We pray this in love, recognizing that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. As it is written in Romans 3:23 WEB: "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." We also know that homosexuality is a sin and not up for debate. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22: You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination.
Heavenly Father, we ask all of these things in Jesus' name, trusting in His precious blood and resurrection for all. We also ask God to help us to love all people as Jesus Christ has loved us. Amen.
