We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your boyfriend's salvation. We are reminded of the power of intercessory prayer and the importance of spreading the Gospel, as seen in John 3:16-17 WEB: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one's boyfriend. We pray that You would open his eyes to the light of the Gospel and grant him ears to hear Your truth. If his mind has been blinded by Satan, we ask that You deliver him and unblind his mind. Soften his heart and bring him faith, that he would accept Your grace and salvation through Jesus Christ. We also pray for the requestor, that she may be a light to her boyfriend and to others and that she would not be unequally yoked to unbelievers. Therefore, we ask that she be granted wisdom in courtship and that the relationship be built on biblical principles for marriage.
We are encouraged by 2 Corinthians 4:4-6 WEB: "in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. For we don’t preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake; seeing it is God who said, 'Light will shine out of darkness,' who has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
As we pray for his salvation, we also remind you to walk in wisdom towards outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person (Colossians 4:5-6 WEB).
We are thankful that you have come to us with this request and that you have included that this request is in Jesus Name. For it is written in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved and it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Heavenly Father.
