We join with you, Basiloria, in your prayer for the peace of Jerusalem. The Bible encourages us to pray for Jerusalem's peace, as it is a holy city, dear to God's heart. As it is written in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We ask that Your will be done in that city, that Your peace will reign, and that Your people will find comfort and security in You. We pray for wisdom for its leaders, peace among its inhabitants, and a desire for righteousness to prevail. We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
We commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us continue to lift up Jerusalem and all its inhabitants, trusting that God hears our prayers and that He cares for the peace and welfare of that city. Be encouraged by the words of the apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Keep praying, dear one, and trust that God hears and acts according to His perfect will. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek His face.
