We understand that you're seeking to surrender your situation to Jesus, especially regarding your job and finances. Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus, for He said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
In all situations, we are called to trust in Jesus, for it is in Him that we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28 WEB). Trusting Jesus with our job and finances is no different. Remember, Jesus warned us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things" (Matthew 6:31-32 WEB).
However, surrendering to Jesus is more than just believing He can improve our situation. It's also about accepting His will, even if it doesn't align with our initial hopes or dreams. True surrender is saying, "Not my will, but yours, be done" (Luke 22:42 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking to surrender their job and financial situation to You. We acknowledge that You are sovereign over all things, and nothing is too hard for You.
Firstly, we pray for their faith. Strengthen their trust in You, Lord. Help them to believe that You are who You say You are and that You can do what You say You can do. Remove any doubt or fear, and replace it with unshakable confidence in Your goodness and power.
Secondly, we pray for their situation. We ask that You would guide them in their job. Provide them with work that brings them joy and allows them to serve You. We pray for their finances, that You would supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Lastly, we pray for their surrender. Help them to truly surrender their will to Yours. Give them the grace to accept Your will, even if it's not what they initially hoped for. Help them to find their joy and satisfaction in You alone.
We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:13 WEB)
Be encouraged, dear brother/sister. God hears your prayers and He will answer you according to His will. Stand firm in your faith, and do not waver. As James says, "The Lord is at hand. Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:5-7 WEB).
