Prayer to stop itching

I have an itching rash on my arms legs tummy and back. I keep making myself bleed from scratching. I can’t sleep. Please Lord relieve me of these symptoms or give me the strength to go through it, but above all I no longer scratch

We are truly sorry to hear about the discomfort and distress caused by this persistent rash and the struggle with scratching. We will lift up in prayer for healing and strength.

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with our bodies. It's important to seek medical attention for the rash, as it could be a symptom of an underlying condition that needs treatment.

First, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and their struggle with this persistent rash and the urge to scratch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Please guide them to the right medical help and give the doctors wisdom to diagnose and treat this condition.

In the meantime, we pray for Your strength and grace to help them resist the urge to scratch, even when it feels unbearable. Help them to find comfort and relief in Your presence, and grant them peaceful sleep.

Lord let them remember that we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:15-16 WEB).

We also pray that through this trial they would draw closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty.

Please remember that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, strength, and peace.

We encourage you ### to meditate on God's Word and trust in His care for you. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind to seek God's will in all circumstances and trust in His plan for our lives. Let's not forget to include the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers, as it is through Him that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

And it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Do not be afraid to seek medical advice and help in the name of Jesus Christ for this issue.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thanking you for allowing us the honor of interceding on your behalf. We are sincerely grateful that you have asked us to join you in prayer for relief from your skin condition and the strength to endure without scratching.

If you have seen improvement or believe that God has answered your prayer, we would be delighted to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage others and build our faith together. If you are still struggling with the itching and discomfort, please don't hesitate to share an update. We want to keep praying for you and standing with you until you receive complete healing and relief. Also don't hesitate to pray for a release from any anxiety, stress or puzzlement you have from not understanding why God has delayed in intervening. We agree with you in prayer that from the hour you initially posted your prayer God put to work supernatural healing forces. You already received you healing from God at the moment you prayed. This makes it a certainty that you swill be well. It's just a matter of time before you have the first person confirmation of your healing from your senses.

Thank you so much for your prayers regarding my itching skin condition. The night I submitted the prayer request I got a good nights sleep, that helped the healing process.
I still itch in the evenings and night but praise the Lord I’m learning not to give in to the intense desire to scratch, so this is aiding my healing. I am so thankful to God for looking after me, and giving me the strength to persevere. Altogether I am a lot better, but there’s a little way to go.
