Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is struggling with the grip of gambling. Lord, we know that You are a God of deliverance and freedom. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear, but when we are tempted, You will also provide a way out so that we can endure it.
Father, we ask that You break the chains of gambling that bind our loved one. Give them the strength and courage to turn away from this destructive habit. Fill their heart with Your peace and contentment, so they no longer seek fulfillment in gambling. Help them to find their joy and satisfaction in You alone.
Lord, we pray for wisdom and guidance for them, that they may seek the support and help they need to overcome this addiction. Surround them with godly counsel and loving friends who will encourage and support them in their journey to freedom.
We trust in Your promise, Lord, that if we come to You, You will not cast us out . We believe that You are able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to You through Jesus . We ask for Your Holy Spirit to fill them, guide them, and strengthen them each day.
