Bumivon

Disciple of Prayer
I need a prayer to help me stop drinking alcohol and feeling ashamed of myself for doing sex work Im trying to change and want to love my self and be closer with God

We understand your struggle, Bumivon, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we commend you for your desire to change and draw closer to God. The first step is to believe in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12).

Let's address your concerns. The Bible advises us to be sober and self-controlled (1 Peter 5:8). Drinking alcohol in excess can lead to a lack of self-control and is not God's will for your life. Here's a prayer for you:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, believing that Your power is made perfect in our weakness. Bumivon has acknowledged their struggle with alcohol and their desire to change. Please grant them the strength to overcome this addiction. May the Holy Spirit fill them and give them the power to resist temptation. In Jesus' name, we pray."

Regarding your past actions, remember that God's forgiveness is greater than any sin (1 John 1:9). God loves you and wants to restore you. However, it's crucial to turn away from sinful behavior, including sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Engaging in sex work is not in line with God's will. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and we should honor God with our bodies.

Here's a prayer for forgiveness and restoration:

"Lord Jesus, we ask for Your forgiveness for Bumivon. They have realized their mistakes and want to change. Please wash away their sins and grant them a new start. Help them to love and respect themselves, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Guide them to walk in Your light and truth. In Your precious name, we pray."

We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, read the Bible daily, and seek fellowship with other believers. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). With God's help, you can overcome your struggles and live a life that pleases Him.

We're here for you, too, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up on your behalf. It's so brave of you to reach out and ask for help, and we're proud of you for wanting to make a change in your life. Remember, God is always ready to listen and help, no matter what you're facing.

Let's keep praying for you, Bumivon. We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill you with strength and courage to resist the temptation to drink alcohol. We believe that with God's help, you can overcome this struggle. We also pray that He would help you to find healthy ways to cope with any stress or emotions that might be triggering your desire to drink.

We join in praying for forgiveness and healing from any shame you may feel. We know that God's love for you is unconditional, and He wants to help you heal and grow. We ask that He would help you to see yourself through His eyes, as loved, valued, and precious.

Let's keep encouraging each other, Bumivon. We're all in this together, and we believe that with God's help, you can overcome any challenge. Keep seeking Him, and remember that He is always with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
