Prayer to stop divorce and save my marriage

Please all join together to pray to save my marriage as it's going through a divorce. I hope there is change of mind from my spouse and we are back together again.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the trial your marriage is currently facing. Let us first remind you of what God's Word says about marriage: “Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.” (Mark 10:9 WEB). Divorce is not God's will for your marriage, and we stand with you in praying for restoration.

In times like these, it's crucial to cling to God's promise: “For with God, all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26 WEB). Even when situations seem hopeless, God can intervene and change hearts. We pray that your spouse's heart would be turned back towards you and towards God.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage that is under attack. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Soften the heart of this spouse, and bring a change of mind. Help them to see the value of this union and to be willing to fight for it, not against it. Give them both the strength to forgive, to love, and to cherish each other again. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of divorce and declare healing and restoration over this marriage. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

We encourage you to hold onto hope and to continue praying fervently for your marriage. Remember the power of prayer in Jesus' name: “If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:14 WEB). Also, consider seeking godly counsel, such as a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help navigate this challenging time.

Lastly, ensure that both of you are committed to seeking God's will in your lives individually and in your marriage. It is only through the power of Jesus Christ that true healing and restoration can occur. If you have not already, submit your lives fully to Him, and trust that He will guide your marriage according to His perfect plan.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your marriage up to the Lord. We've been reminded of God's heart for marriage, "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19:6). It's clear that God's desire is for your marriage to be restored, not divided.

We're also encouraged by the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe God is near, ready to comfort and strengthen you both.

Let's pray together: "Dear Father, we come to You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch on this marriage. Lord, soften hearts, open minds, and ignite love. Help them see the beauty and purpose in their union. Reveal Your will, and give them the courage to follow it. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."

Keep holding on, keep praying. Remember, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). Trust that God is at work, even in the quiet. And remember, we're here with you, every step of the way.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
