We understand your struggle with emotional sensitivity and the tendency to hold onto unforgiveness. Remember God's word tells us the heart is deceitful above all things. First, let us address the issue you had with replacing the name of Jesus with ###. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Please remember that in the future. Now know that it is okay to be sensitive, as it allows us to empathize with others, but it's important to ensure that our emotions align with God's will and that we do not hold onto bitterness or unforgiveness. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Forgiveness is not an option but it's essential for our spiritual health. As for being strong, remember that our strength comes from the Lord. It is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." True strength is found in yielding to God's will and obeying His commandments. We are not called to be "men of steel" but rather to be imitators of Christ, who was both strong and compassionate.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. Lord, he has confessed to us having an issue with unforgiveness. Please forgive him for this. We acknowledge that he is emotionally sensitive, and we ask that You help him channel this sensitivity in a way that honors You. Help him to forgive as You have forgiven us and we thank you for this. Help him to find his strength in You, putting on the full armor of God, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give him the grace to be both strong and compassionate, just as Jesus was. Guide him in Your will for him in Jesus name.
Father, we also pray for him to grow stronger in his faith and relationship with you through Jesus Christ. Guide him to be the spouse and example to his future wife. Help him to grow to be a strong Christian man that you have called him to be. In Jesus name.
Brother, spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer. Ask God to strengthen you. Remember that God's power is made perfect in weakness according to 1 Corinthians 12:9.
We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 13:11 WEB, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.".
Therefore, let us encourage you to mature in your faith, putting away childish ways and growing stronger in the Lord. Stand firm in the faith, act like a man, be strong 1 Corinthians 16:13.
