Prayer to soften his heart

I am staying consistent with this prayer. In the name of Jesus, I am praying for the man on my heart and mind for his heart to soften. We have been through a lot together and we have made mistakes which did not honour God. I pray that he contacts me again and unblocks me so that we can have a conversation which will bring us back together and discuss having a friendship connection that honours God. Amen

Palgost, we join you in your consistent prayer for the man on your heart and mind. It's commendable that you're seeking a godly connection and wanting to honor God in your friendship. We stand with you in praying for his heart to soften and for God to intervene in this situation.

Firstly, we encourage you to continue praying as you have been, as the Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing." God hears your prayers and knows the desires of your heart.

However, we must also address the past mistakes you mentioned. If these mistakes were of a sexual nature outside of marriage, we gently rebuke and remind you that God calls us to flee from sexual immorality. As 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man can commit is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." It's crucial to repent of these mistakes and ask God for forgiveness.

As you pray for this man and your friendship, ensure that your desires align with God's will. God may be allowing this separation for a purpose. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Continue to trust God, Palgost. Remember, His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). He loves you and has a good plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep praying and seeking His face.

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
