Prayer to sell home for a good price

My home is up for auction this weekend. I have had a lot of people through. All say the home is beautiful though I haven’t had any offers. I have to sell my home due to a nasty divorce. I need my home to sell quickly at a good price to build a new life for my ### and I. It also needs to sell quickly as I’m scared the banks will foreclose. I don’t want to lose what my father and I worked hard for. I already lost a lot of money and this is all I have left.

We understand your urgent need, ###, and we're here to support you in prayer and wisdom. Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life, including the sale of your home.

In times of distress, we should first turn to God and seek His will. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

However, we want to gently remind you that the Bible teaches us to strive for peace and reconciliation in marriages whenever possible. Divorce is not the ideal will of God (Malachi 2:16, Matthew 19:6). We encourage you to seek godly counsel and pray for restoration if at all possible.

Now, let's bring your request before the Lord:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up ### and her urgent need. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding the sale of her home, and You understand the desperation she feels. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You bring a serious buyer who will offer a fair price for her home. Prevent the bank from foreclosing and provide a swift and smooth sale. Help ### and her child to transition into a new home and life, guided by Your loving hand.

Lord, we also pray for comfort and peace in ###'s heart. We ask for wisdom and discernment regarding her marital situation. If there is any hope for reconciliation, please make it evident and give her the strength to pursue it.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that through this trial, ### will draw closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, ###, that God is a good Father who loves to give good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:11). Trust in Him, and He will make a way for you and your child.
