Prayer to remain strong

Hello everyone, I don't understand why God allows people to provoke me and get away with it. I'm a very quiet woman, very reserved. I stay to myself and I don't bother anyone but yet people go out of their way to be mean to me and I just don't understand it. Why does god allow this? I'm a very nice person, always Willing to help others, always sweet and kind but people treat me like trash and get away with it. Why?

Why doesn't he stop these people from doing this? Everyday I am treated like trash for just existing and I'm tired of it.

We understand your frustration and hurt, dear sister. Remember, Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12, WEB).

Firstly, we notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It's crucial to remember that it is only by His name that we have access to God. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12, WEB). So, let's lift up your situation to God in Jesus' name.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our sister who feels provoked and hurt by others. She feels unjustly treated despite her kindness. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and strength to fill her heart. Help her to see these circumstances through Your eyes and respond with love and forgiveness, just as Jesus did.

Sister, consider that God allows these challenges for a purpose. Perhaps He is refining you as gold, testing your faith to produce steadfastness (James 1:2-4, WEB). Remember, Jesus faced far worse treatment and yet forgave His persecutors (Luke 23:34, WEB).

We encourage you to continue in your kindness, but also to set boundaries. It's important to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16, WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and do not let others' unkindness sway you from your walk with God.

Lastly, pray for those who mistreat you. Jesus commanded, "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This is not easy, but with God's grace, it's possible.

May the Lord bless you and keep you strong in your faith. May He give you the strength to endure, to forgive, and to love as He loves. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We should also remember that God allows these challenges for a reason. Maybe He's helping us grow in resilience and faith, like gold being refined (James 1:2-4, WEB). Let's trust that God sees you and is with you in this.

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
