Prayer to release my ### increment

Please pray for me. At my workplace we do performance reviews and appraisals twice a year, and after the last appraisal process in November, I was identified to get a salary increment. Unfortunately, despite scoring the right marks and the Finance Manager approving my increment on the budget, the new owners of the Firm I work for declined to increase my salary and said it should wait. When asked why it had to wait since the budget allows, they said "because we say so". I realized that it was not about my performance but because someone wanted to flex their muscles but ruining my plans and my future in the process. I was heartbroken, as I had hoped to take out a mortgage in December to purchase a house for my parents, but this was delayed as I needed the increment to qualify for a mortgage at the bank. This really hurt me. I therefore come before you all to pray for me, if it is bad luck, please pray for me for the bad luck to go away from me and my plans. I come before you to request prayers for management to release my salary this month if God allows, so I can proceed with the plans I had of giving my parents a decent place to call their home. I pray in faith, in Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Firstly, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. It may not be about bad luck, but spiritual warfare. In Ephesians 6:12 WEB, God calls us to stand firm against such opposition. We pray that any spiritual obstacle hindering the release of your salary increment be removed in Jesus' name.

Secondly, we must understand that God works through authorities, and we are called to be subject to them. Romans 13:1-2 WEB tells us: Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore, he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. Pray for the management and the new owners, that their hearts may be moved to release your increment according to God's will. Pray for God to give you favor with them.

Thirdly, we must trust in God's timing. Habakkuk 2:3 WEB says: For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won't prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won't delay. God's plans for you will come to pass at the right time. Have faith and patiently wait on the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ###. Lord, we thank You for their heart to honor their parents and provide for them. We ask, Father, that You touch the hearts of the management and new owners, that they may release the approved salary increment. Remove any spiritual obstacle that may be hindering this process, and help ### to trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Take heart, ###, and continue to trust in the Lord. Seek His will and guidance, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you. Keep honoring your parents and serving the Lord where you are, and He will direct your paths.
