We join you, Aile, in lifting up your marriage to Glen in prayer, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal and restore. We are reminded of the promise in Revelation 21:5, "Behold, I make all things new." This is our hope for your marriage, that God will make it new and stronger than ever.
Firstly, we praise God that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ and prayed in His name.
We commend you for recognizing the importance of forgiveness and God's saving grace. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness is a powerful force that can break down walls and rebuild bridges. Be patient with each other remembering Ephesians 4:2, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love."
We also remember to pray Ephesians 3:14,15,16,17,18. "14 For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be strengthened to grasp with all the saints what is the width and length and height18 and depth, ".
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Aile and Glen's marriage. We ask that You rebuild and restore their love and trust, making their marriage strong and new. We pray that You would forgive their sins and pour out Your saving grace upon their union. Help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven them. Guide them as they navigate this journey of healing, that they may be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
