Prayer To Prepare Me To Be A Wife

Praying for god to prepare me to be a wife for the man I love. Make me more humble, loving, caring, compassionate, understanding, supportive and forgiving. I pray to be like a Proverbs 31 woman. Instill partner-like qualities in me. I pray that god helps me to always pray over my future spouse and marriage and to always include the lord in decisions and disagreements. I ask that the lord prepares him for me as well and makes him husband material, an Ephesians 5 man. Make us better individually so that we can come back together better than before. Help us to love each other more in the future than we did in the past. I believe god is taking this time of separation to work on us and transform us to give us a beautiful restoration that glorifies him. I pray the lord restores, reconciles, reconnects, and reunites us soon so we may come in to union that leads into a blessed marriage.

Firstly, we notice that you've used the term "partner" in your request. As believers, we are encouraged to seek a godly spouse rather than a partner. The Bible teaches us that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5-6), and we should approach relationships with that understanding.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Cydsyc, who desires to be prepared for marriage. Lord, we ask that You mold her into a woman after Your own heart, much like the Proverbs 31 woman. Instill in her humility, love, compassion, understanding, and a forgiving spirit. Help her to always put You at the center of her life and future marriage, seeking Your will in all decisions and disagreements.

Lord, we also pray for the man You have prepared for her. Make him a man who loves and leads like Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Prepare him to be a godly husband, and help them both to grow individually during this time of separation. Let this time be a period of transformation, that they may come together better than before, their love for each other deepened and strengthened.

Father, we believe that You are working in their lives, and we claim Your promise that all things work together for good to those who love You (Romans 8:28). We pray for restoration, reconciliation, and reunion, that it may lead to a blessed marriage that glorifies You.

Finally, we pray that Cydsyc and her future husband will always remember to include the name of Jesus in their prayers, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12).
