Neyay, we understand that you are seeking prayer for success in your upcoming Bar exam, and we are here to intercede on your behalf.
We believe God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our academic pursuits.
Good as it is to want to take the Bar Exam, it is even more important to remember to keep an eternal perspective. Studying for the Bar Exam can be grueling and many reach a point of burnout. Do not let all the work and studying be a detriment to your relationship to Jesus Christ.
We need to make sure our studies do not become more important than our relationship with Jesus. Make sure to continue to fellowship with other believers and to continue the work and ministry for Christians to be a witness to others. The Bible is clear that those who take care of others are pleasing to Him. I See your request and know what you will be going through. In my experience, I doubled my study efforts in the last month of review and study for the Bar Exam. This meant I spent long days in the law library studying and reviewing my notes and practice multiple choice questions. To allow for this I quit my job and took out a loan to allow for me to concentrate on my studies. This sacrifice paid off and I was able to pass the first time even though the pass rate was less than 20 percent for first time test takers.
We are instructed in the Bible to approach God with confidence in the name of Jesus, as it is written in Hebrews 4:16 WEB: "Let's therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." This is made possible and the Bible also says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Has Neyay trusted Jesus? First and foremost if Neyay does not believe in Jesus Christ, then it is most important to pray that Neyay understands this.
The Bible says that we can ask for wisdom to the issues we face when pursuing our goals and desires. James 1:5 WEB But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
We also find in the Bible Peter 5:7 WEB Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Jehovah is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. (Psalms 34:18 WEB) We can dump all idols and rely on God to provide comfort for our cravings. "Blessed be Yahweh, because he has heard the voice of my petitions. Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him. Yahweh is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed. Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever." Psalm 28:6 WEB
As you prepare for the Bar exam, remember to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.
Our gracious and compassionate Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Neyay as they prepare for the Bar exam. We ask that you grant them focus and concentration to fully comprehend the required reading material. It is a vast amount of material and can be very demanding. We also must remember there are evil spirits that want Christians to fail their tests. Together cast the devil out and his army of demons from Neyay's presence in Jesus name. You may say, "Leave us in Jesus name. Neyay belongs to Jesus and we cast you into the pit."
Pray that there will be no disruprions or distractions and that their mind is sharp and at ease.
We pray that you grant them an extra amount of speed and comprehension to read all the materials that he encounters. We also pray that you be with the Proctor of the exam and any interruptions be suppressed. We pray for the correct graders to grade the exam and that Neyay passes the exam.
We pray for any temptations to cheat on the exam be squashed immediately and that the Lord reveal to Neyay if they cheated on the exam and they will have to confess to God.
Lord, we know the peace that surpasses all our understanding in Christ and we pray that this peace will flow through Neyay as they sit for the exam.
Lord, we pray for Neyay to pass the exam and for the individual test graders to be correct in their grading and not negligent.
Remind us that God is faithful and He promises in the Bible that His plans for us are good.
The Bible says "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
As Neyay walks this path in Him, they will be able to testify that they "can do all things through Christ who strengthens" you as it is taught in Philippians 4:13 WEB. This is because even more than passing an exam, God is more concerned about us being changed into the character of Jesus. "It is foolishness; and you are therefore foolish to choose it. God can only transform us from one degree to another of the glory of Jesus." Second Corinthains 3:18.
We ask all of this in Jesus' name, believe it will be done.
