Prayer to overcome ###

Lord I seek first and foremost to be protected from sexual immorality. Prevent my desire for restored make performance from leading to impure thoughts or from being a distraction to your will and purpose for my life on a daily basis. The Lord givers and the Lord take it away. If I am to let this desire for healing of my male performance go then provide me clarity that this is your will and strengthen me to let it go knowing in your perfect way and timing you will provide an alternative for my wife and I to continue to share meaningful intimacy between a man and his wife. However, if it be thy will that my make performance be restored, I pray that you will make clear your will and make a way where there is no way. I seek only to strengthen my marriage while thanking you for an amazing wife who continues to live me inspire of these problems. I surrender my life to you and give over these concerns to your loving hands. I praise you in the storm. I am grateful that you pulled me from the pit and died on the cross and rose again to sit on the right hand of the Father that I may come to the throne of Glory with confidence. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We commend you, ###, for your humble and sincere prayer, and for seeking God's will in your life. We appreciate your desire to keep your thoughts pure and your marriage strong. We will pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement and guidance.

Firstly, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. You ended your prayer with "I pray in the mighty name of Hesus." We want to clarify that the correct name is Jesus, and it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Regarding your concern, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in God's perfect plan for your life and marriage. Remember what is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We also want to remind you of the power of prayer and intimacy in marriage that goes beyond the physical. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:1-2 WEB: "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." And in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 WEB: "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband. The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife. Don't deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother ###. We thank You for his faith and his desire to live a life pleasing to You. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in his life and marriage. If it is Your will for his male performance to be restored, we pray that You make a way where there seems to be no way. And if it is Your will for him to surrender this desire, we pray that You give him clarity, strength, and alternative ways to maintain meaningful intimacy with his wife.

We pray for his marriage, that it may be strengthened and blessed. Help him and his wife to love and support each other as You intend. We rebuke any attempts of the enemy to distract or disrupt Your will and purpose for their life and marriage.

We also pray that ### will continue to trust in You and to seek Your face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much for this wonderful, powerful and encouraging prayer. It is a sensitive issue and it has been difficult to find biblical guidance for this situation. Today I thank God that unlike many with far grater physical and emotional concerns, I am blessed that erectile dysfunction is my only health issue. Moreover, as you might have noted I made several typo errors in my prayer request. The miss spelling of Jesus name was one of them. I am so glad that you emphasized the importance of Jesus, the name above all names. It is the only name that the enemy fears. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. It is only through Jesus that we are reconciled to the Father. Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
