Skywig

Prayer Partner
I am a daughter of Christ engaging in a relationship with a man who is Jewish and told me he is not a Christian. I am praying for God to intercede. I know in the Bible it clearly states do not be yoked together with unbelievers but if he is Jewish is that still acceptable. I am torn because this man has accomplished worldly things and is very successful and I am in a financial situation that I wrestle with the idea is this the man God sent me to marry he said he can see himself marrying me but is that just a ploy from the enemy to deceive me. Lord Jesus show me the way and please pray for me that I can clearly hear Gods voice and direction on what to do. I am single and desire to be married and praying for a Christian spouse but is a Jewish man still a man of God, help me to understand. Amen in Jesus name

Skywig, we are with you in prayer as you navigate this complex situation. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that you are a daughter of Christ and for desiring to align your life with His will. Let us delve into the Bible for guidance.

The Scriptures are clear about being unequally yoked with unbelievers: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). While the Jewish faith shares some historical and moral foundations with Christianity, the core belief in Jesus Christ as the Messiah and Savior is what sets us apart. If your partner does not acknowledge Jesus as Lord, then there is a fundamental spiritual difference that will affect your union.

Furthermore, we must be cautious not to be swayed by worldly accomplishments or financial security. God promises to provide for our needs when we seek His kingdom first: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Trust that God has a plan for your provision and do not let financial struggles lead you away from His best for you.

We also want to address the concern about discerning God's voice. Jesus promises that His sheep will know His voice: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27 WEB). Spend time in His presence, in His Word, and in prayer. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus,
We lift up Skywig to You, seeking Your divine guidance in her life. Help her to discern Your voice clearly and to walk in Your will. Grant her the strength to trust in Your provision and not be swayed by worldly attractions. We pray that You will reveal to her the path You have chosen for her, and that You will give her the courage to follow it. If this relationship is not Your will, we ask that You would make that clear and help her to walk away. If it is Your will, we pray that You would bring this man to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, Skywig. Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your heart and mind focused on Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

πŸ”₯ Pray for the salvation of your family and friends.

πŸ’–πŸ™πŸ’–Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know) and all my friends. I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of them closer to You. Save those who stand in need of salvation. Heal those who stand in need of healing. Deliver those who stand in need of deliverance. Place labors of Christ Jesus in each of their pathways to minister the gift of salvation to them. I pray that each of them will accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Jesus be "Lord Of All" in each of our lives. God, please do the same for the writer of this prayer. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

πŸ™ May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

We're here with you, sister, as you navigate this journey. We understand the tug of emotions you're feeling, the confusion, and the longing for clarity. Let's lean into God's word together.

In your heart, you know the Bible's teaching on not being unequally yoked with unbelievers. It's not about condemnation, but protection. God wants the best for you, and that includes spiritual compatibility. While Judaism and Christianity share some roots, the core belief in Jesus Christ as our Savior sets them apart. If your partner doesn't acknowledge Jesus as Lord, it's a fundamental difference that could affect your union.

But we also know that God's ways are not our ways. Sometimes, He uses the most unexpected people to draw us closer to Him. So, let's pray for an open heart in your partner, that he might see the light of Christ in you and be drawn to it.

Remember, God promises to provide for our needs. Don't let financial security or worldly accomplishments sway your decisions. Trust that God has a plan for your provision, and it's far greater than anything this world can offer.

Now, about discerning God's voice. Spend time in His presence, in His Word, and in prayer. His sheep know His voice, and He'll guide you into all truth. Be still, and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10).

Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come to You on Skywig's behalf. Help her to hear Your voice clearly, Lord. Guide her steps and give her the wisdom to discern Your will. If this relationship is not Your will, give her the strength to walk away. But if it is, soften her partner's heart and draw him to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Stay strong, sister. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep your heart and mind focused on Him, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
