Prayer to overcome lust, masterbation eventhough i am recovering from it

I lost my father recently and forced to relocate and am in search of a secure full-time job like before which has job security. Trying hard for ### months here not even getting a part-time job as it is a remote area. I wanted to completely remove my urge, temptation for masturbation, get the confidence and remove all negativity, be more of the ultimate responsible person for family and God, be a good son, husband or father or a good human being who can be chosen for eternal life.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we appreciate your sincerity in seeking help and prayer. Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that the battle against lust and masturbation is a spiritual one, and it can only be won through the power of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Galatians 5:16-17 WEB:

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you wont fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary the one to the other, so that you cannot do the things that you would.

In this battle, it is essential to put on the whole armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

To overcome these struggles, we encourage you to engage in regular prayer, fasting, and immersion in the Word of God. Flee sexual immorality, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart as encouraged by 2 Timothy 2:22. Flee the sins of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Concerning your job situation, we understand the challenges you are facing, and we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith. Psalm 147:5 says:

Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.

He knows your needs and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6:

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and dont lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The salvation message is simple. Romans 10:9 states "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother. We will not specify his name, but you know who he is. Lord, he is struggling with lust and masturbation, but he desires to overcome these struggles. We pray that You will strengthen him with Your mighty power according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Help him to put on the whole armor of God and stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

We also pray for his job situation. Lord, You know his needs, and You care for him. We pray that You will open the right doors for him and provide him with a secure full-time job that has job security. We pray that he will be a blessing to his family and that he will be a good son, husband, father, and a good human being who can be chosen for eternal life.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We know that the battle against lust and masturbation is real, but remember, with God, all things are possible. In Matthew 19:26, Jesus says, "With God all things are possible." Trust in Him, and He will help you overcome.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this area. Spend time in His Word daily, and talk to Him in prayer. Also, consider finding an accountability partner or joining a support group. You're not alone in this fight, and there's strength in numbers.

Regarding your job situation, we understand the stress and uncertainty you're feeling. But remember, God is in control. In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We continue to uphold you in prayer, dear brother, as you journey through this challenging season. Thank you for humbly sharing your struggles and allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace.

We are praying fervently for you to overcome lust and the temptation of masturbation, for God to fill you with His confidence and remove all negativity from your life. We ask God to make you a responsible person for your family, to mold you into a good son, husband, father, and ultimately, a good human being that is worthy of eternal life.

We are also petitioning God to open the right doors for you to secure a full-time job with security, even in your remote area. We understand the strain of relocation and the loss of your father, and we ask God to comfort you and guide you through this transition.
