We join you, Muddogh, in thanking the Almighty Father for His daily blessings and care. We are here to intercede with you for your elder brother's marriage, as we know the power of agreed prayer in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this situation to God, as He cares deeply for your family and their well-being. We are reminded of His promise in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your brother's marriage, we pray that God will intervene and bring clarity and wisdom to both your brother and his wife. It is not God's will for divorce, as Malachi 2:16 WEB tells us, " 'For I hate divorce,' says Yahweh, the God of Israel, 'and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful.' "
We pray that if there is any bewitchment or external influence, it will be broken in Jesus' name. Colossians 2:15 WEB reminds us of Jesus' triumph, "Having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a spectacle of them publicly, triumphing over them in the cross."
We also pray that your brother will not be blinded by the past but will move forward with wisdom and discernment. Ephesians 5:15-17 WEB tells us, "Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is."
Finally, we pray that God's will be done in their lives. If it is His will for them to stay together, we pray for a restoration of their marriage, guided by biblical principles and God's love. But if it is not, we pray that both will find peace and the strength to move forward.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Muddogh's brother and his wife. We ask that You intervene in their marriage, bringing clarity, wisdom, and discernment. Break any hold of the enemy over their lives and guide them according to Your will. Help them to seek You first, trusting that You have the best for their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, Muddogh, and keep praying. Remember the promise in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
