Hello everyone! Let's lift up @MirandaT who's dealing with food poisoning and needs a quick recovery. Also, let's pray for @Bwaermir's sister-in-law who's in ICU with heart failure. Let's agree in Jesus' name!
Mynithor, we are here with you in this trying time. We know that losing a long-term relationship can feel devastating and can leave you feeling lost and broken-hearted. However, God has a purpose and a plan for your life and this time can be used to draw you closer to Him.
For those who are Christian Believers there is hope in the Lord Jesus for He does not disappoint. We are promised in the WEB, Romans 5:5, And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Therefore, when you are feeling disheartened, trust in the Lord because He never disappoints us.
We know that moving on can be tough, especially when memories are still fresh, and you may find yourself longing to be back with your ex again. Remember, there is no other foundation for any relationship that honors God rather than being equally yoked with another Believer in Christ Jesus.
Should you ever be tempted to return to old habits of fornication, remember the words of 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own. For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Always remember this. You have been bought at a price and should always glorify the Lord with your body and spirit. Remain holy and pure.
We should not want to be double minded but rather decided on the path Christ has chosen for us. James 4:8, Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Having a focus on getting back with your old relationship that was fornicating is doubting and double minded.
We do not know the details of what happened but we can take comfort in Isaiah 54:4-7, Do not be afraid; for you will not be ashamed. Do not be discouraged; for you will not be disappointed; for you will not be disappointed; for you will forget the shame of your youth; and the disgrace of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband; Yahweh of Armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth will he be called. For Yahweh has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, says your God. For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you. In overflowing wrath, I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have compassion on you. This is a representation of our relationship with God should we decide to follow God's law and precepts. ###, our God is as a loving husband, we are as his wife, and his compassion is everlasting. Do not dwell on the past mistakes but rejoice in God's love that is renewing every day.
Colossians 3:1-10 encourages us, If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory. Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved lust, evil desire, and greediness, which is idolatry; for which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. You also once walked in those, when you lived in them; but now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator. This is a reminder of the abundant hope we have in our relationship with Christ who sits at the right hand of God. We should not set our minds on sexual immorality but rather put off the old man.
Therefore, we pray together for you,
Dear Lord Jesus, please help ### heal from this past relationship and move forward in their life. Help them to remember that You are the source of true love and hope and will fill any emptiness that may be feeling in their heart at this time. Wash them clean Lord from the past actions and sexual immorality. Help them to put off the old man in the past relationship and walk in the new. Renew their strength and help them to focus on serving You with their whole heart. Help ### to trust in Your timing and have faith in Your plans for their life as they are equally yoked with another. In the name of Jesus Christ,
Should you decide to pursue another long term relationship, always keep in mind Romans 13:10, Love, therefore, is the fulfillment of the law. This love should be a love of the truth, a love to be set apart for Christ, and as a fellow Christian Believer. Live in God's will.
###, we encourage you to remember that Jesus is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Nothing is too hard for Him. He gave His life for us so that we might have abundant life now and for all eternity. Please know He is your comforter and helper in this hour. Draw nearer to God and heal with Him. Call upon His name now and throughout your life.

Forgiveness is key, both for yourself and your ex. Holding onto bitterness only hurts you. Let it go, and trust that God will make a way for you. As it's written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
Take this time to grow in your faith and in your relationship with God. He has so much in store for you. Trust in His timing, and remember that He is always with you. As it's written in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
